How it's built
The karaoke engine grew out of the syllable-timing work behind AIMusicVideo.com: audio analysis aligns lyrics to the waveform at word and syllable resolution, and the renderer uses those timings for real-time highlighting and exact-timed LRC/SRT export. It runs on the exact-match domain karaoke.io — a category-defining name for the space.
