Federal agencies have found that in some circumstances it is to their benefit to use the services of a qualified environmental contractor to work with government staff on-site at the client's facilities to provide technical and/or administrative services to support their program and mission objectives.
  • Jason Associates Corporation (Jason) is a nationally known on-site support contractor.
  • Jason provides both experienced on-site managers and technical staff backed up by a deep pool of off-site technical resources to ensure available skills to fulfill virtually any client requirement.
The technical capabilities required for Jason to provide a client with on-site support services are primarily dependent on the requirements identified by that client. Jason has demonstrated in previous assignments that it has the ability to provide a diverse range of technical capabilities. In addition to providing in-house staff, Jason has also successfully assembled multi-company teams to expand and diversify the range of services to meet clients' requirements. Jason project teams have also included particular services, such as drilling and sampling, laboratory testing, field survey teams, radiation monitoring, and other very specialized skill sets that may be difficult to obtain in a timely manner from government sources. The range of services available directly from Jason staff would include services such as the following:
  • Regulatory compliance assessment and assistance, including the evaluation of statutory requirements resulting from the large and diverse set of environmental laws and regulations.
  • National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, especially the management and preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) and Environmental Assessments (EAs), and related NEPA-specific procedural notices, record keeping, and reporting.
  • Environmental engineering support pursuant to various requirements associated with environmental restoration, program implementation, field investigations, data evaluation, and document preparation.
  • Environmental Task Management System development to facilitate computer-based environmental requirements tracking and companion task development, management, review, and tracking.
  • Public involvement and communications support, public outreach programs, communications planning, materials preparation, and meeting facilitation.
  • Waste management support services, including RCRA compliance and radioactive waste management expertise.
  • Safety analysis support services, including nuclear and non-nuclear facilities, spent nuclear fuel storage facilities, waste management facilities, and commercial nuclear power plants.
  • Information technology services, including programming and specialized computer skills for databases, operating systems, and web servers.
