The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires Federal agencies
to prepare written documentation of potential environmental impacts
from proposed actions. Such documentation and the type and level of
analyses may vary significantly depending upon the actions proposed,
agency-specific NEPA requirements, and public input into the process.
- Jason Associates Corporation (Jason) is a nationally recognized NEPA
contractor.
- Jason provides expertise in all activity areas necessary to ensure
cost-effective NEPA compliance for our clients.
Analytical activities to prepare an EIS or EA require that analyses be
accomplished in a broad range of resource areas, depending on the specific
nature of the proposed action. Jason has specialized senior EIS staff
people who are experts in the resource areas normally included in an EIS.
This staff includes NEPA specialists, program managers, environmental
scientists and engineers, biologists, land-use planners, economists,
safety engineers, risk analysts, and public involvement and communications
specialists. Jason staff has successfully performed the analyses for a
