Jason Associates Corporation (JAC), an Environmental Services firm, is currently seeking resumes for Full Time Environmental Scientist Engineers II (7 - 10 years experience) to support projects in the southwest region primarily in our Yuma, AZ, San Diego, CA and Las Vegas, NV locations.

The ideal candidate would provide professional expertise for projects issued to JAC under existing contracts. Projects include Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, Biological Assessments, site investigations/characterizations, and compliance evaluations/audits for CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, CWA and ESA. Responsibilities include data collection, field surveys, and report preparation.

Required knowledge/skills: B. S. in Environmental Engineering/Science, Biology or related field. 3-10 years experience in NEPA, ESA and 404 permitting under CWA is essential.

Ideal candidate would possess experience to conduct species and habitat surveys for Federal and or State listed species, preferably in the desert southwest. Wetlands Delineation, plant identification, public and stakeholder involvement skills needed. Use of ArcGIS software and data platforms to support environmental analysis is desirable.

Good written and oral communication skills, proficient in the use of common computer applications to include MS office. Must be able to work independently, as well as, part of a multi-disciplinary team. Detail oriented and strong attention to deliverable deadlines.
