Jason Associates Corporation (JAC), an Environmental Engineering Services firm, is currently seeking resumes for two NEPA Engineer/Scientist positions.  These positions are part-time as needed.  Part-time as needed employment and ranges from 0-40 hours per week, dependent on the workload requirements and project deliverables.  These positions can be located in our Yuma, AZ office, our San Diego, CA office or remotely at your home office.

The ideal candidate will prepare various analyses and associated text necessary for a major U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).  Technical support could be needed in several disciplines including but not limited to: environmental sciences, engineering, construction, transportation, radiological safety, socioeconomics, waste management or computer modeling.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:  B.S in Environmental Engineering/Science or related field; 5-10 years experience with data analyses and associated preparation of documentation compliant with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); familiarity with a variety of technical disciplines including those listed above.  Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience in DOE NEPA document preparation and/or those with nuclear facility experience.

Good written and oral communication skills and proficiency in the use of common computer applications is essential.  Must be able to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.  Attention to detail, quality as well as meeting deliverable deadlines is a must.
